Combined Engine Plant(CEP) project was sanctioned in 1987 for creating facilities for the manufacture of UTD-20 and V46-6 OE engines and was working as part of HVF. Subsequently CEP became independent in 1995 as Engine Factory, Avadi.
Since inception, this factory has grown and achieved many milestones as below: -
