High Explosives Factory, Khadki, Pune is a premier factory in the family of 41 Ordnance Factories. Its corporate office is ORDNANCE FACTORY BOARD located at KOLKATA. Major production at High Explosives Factory started during 1942-44. The factory is engaged in the manufacture of High Explosives viz TNT, DNT, 'G' Fuel , Slab Demolition, CE Primer, Oxidiser (RFNA), Hand Granade Tetryl, PEK-1 ( Plastic Explosive ), Hexa Nitro Stilbene, Lead Styphnate, Lead Azide, Mercury Fulminate, Tetrazene, Detonator.
