Class Rooms at NADP

The Academy has 3 Lecture Hall and 1 IT Lab.

1) Raman Hall

This lecture hall is named after the great Indian physicist Sir C.V. Raman.  Very spacious, air-conditioned hall with aesthetic lighting and pleasant interiors, offers a linear seating arrangement which creates conducive environment for learning. The hall has broadband / wi-fi Internet connectivity, public address system and push-to-talk delegate mic system for participant officers. The hall is also equipped with ergonomically designed furniture and standard array of audio-visual presentation equipment that provides our faculty with the best multimedia tools for their instructional needs. This lecture hall can accommodate upto 30-35 participant .

2) Bose Hall

This lecture hall is named after the great Indian plant physiologist and physicist -  J.C. Bose. The hall has a good ambience with all facilities similar to the Raman Hall. The lecture hall can accommodate upto 20 participants.

3) Bhabha Hall

This lecture hall is named after the great Indian nuclear physicist - Homi J Bhabha. The hall has a good ambience with all facilities similar to the other halls. Bhabha Hall is also equipped with virtual class room facilities with Cisco WebEx Virtual Platform and high speed Internet connectivity. The lecture hall can accommodate up to 45-50 participant.

4) Tagore Hall

This IT Lab of the Academy is named after the great Indian, Nobel Prize laureate - Rabindranath Tagore. All IT oriented Management Development Program (MDP) courses for in-service officers are organised here. This lab has more than 35 High End personal computers with state-of-the-art information technology tools connected through LAN with Microsoft 2008 server. The lab is equipped with multimedia projector, motorized screens and all other modern teaching aids. Now, E-Classroom facilities are also being installed in this Lab. The lab can accommodate up to 35 participant.

5) Utsav Hall

As the name depicts, the Academy has a well furnished auditorium where all cultural and ceremonial events are organised. The hall is aesthetically designed with acoustic controls and has a total seating capacity of 300 people. The Utsav hall has hosted a huge array of events with guests and dignitaries from Ministry of Defence and other departments. The Valedictory Functions of IOFS Probationary Officer batches are generally conducted here.

6) Conference Hall

The hall has a sophisticated blend of ultra modern design and technology with an ambience of a traditional Conference. It is a fully equipped Conference Hall with latest AV equipment & Delegate Mic system and can accommodate the gathering of 25 - 30 people. The regular Academic Council Meeting (ACM) is also held here.
