GIF OVERVIEW

Grey Iron Foundry (GIF) Jabalpur is a unit of Yantra India Limited , a Government undertaking (formerly a unit of Ordnance Factory Board) under the administrative control of Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence. This factory was founded in 1972 with the collaboration of SKODA, CZECHOSLOVAKIA. This factory is specialized in the production of Castings of various grades of GREY IRON, S.G. IRON, CAST IRON & MEDIUM CARBON STEEL. Grey Iron Foundry has the complete manufacturing setup equipped with modern CNC machines. Grey Iron Foundry has now diversified into manufacture of Ammunition Hardware, Fabrication of Monocoque Hull Assy. for Mine Protected Vehicles and Sub Assemblies of Howitzer and Field Guns against requirement of ARMY & AIR FORCE. INTENT OF GIF

1st October 2021 marks a historic day for us as we usher in the commencement of business as YANTRA INDIA LIMITED under the aegis of Ministry of Defence, Department of Defence Production. It is challenging time, also a time to rise and shine for all of us. It is a time for collaboration, co-operation and creation. We have several milestones to achieve and innumerable heights to scale. At this juncture, we are focusing on reducing costs, improving quality, ensuring customer connect, enhancing our capabilities in Research and Development and expansion of our business through joint ventures. All of these endeavors can be successfully achieved by effective participation from interested investors. In recognition to the Company's growing status, GIF plans to go for exploitation/utilization of in-house capacity/infrastructure for which GIF is looking forward for Joint Ventures.

INVITATION OF PROPOSAL

GIF invites proposals from owner's of Industries for participation in development of their resources in our unit. Further also GIF invites proposals on mutually advantageous potential investment opportunities primarily for various types of castings and other articles both within India and globally. Such Investment Opportunities may include the following areas:-

Joint venture for Utilization of In-house infrastructure of our unit (Foundry Shop, Machining Shop, Fabrication Shop, Press Shops , Testing laboratory etc).
Joint venture for Development of Resources in the field of Information Technology & Design .
Any other proposal of participation in value addition / expansion/ diversification in line with present business of

SUBMISSION OF PROPOSAL

The interested investor/Proposer may visit our factory during all working days between (10:00 AM to 4:00 PM) and after that the proposal(s) may be submitted in the format detailed below.

1	Details of Proposer	Name, Address, email id, website details, Phone and fax numbers, Contact Person details. Brief on the Present Business Activity along with all supporting documents. Financial statements and Turnover details of the company.
2	Business Proposal & Project Details	The proposer should specially deal on the proposal to GIF and suggest way forward regarding in-house capacity utilization. Brief Details of the project proposed. This should provide a complete overview of the project proposed to GIF
3	Financial analysis of the proposal/projects	Broad Financial Analysis on the projects and Specific Details to be mentioned here.

The detailed information on the above including technical and financial Reports, presentations, synopsis, detailed reports, and other relevant information may be submitted as additional attachments to mail and enclosures in printed form to the above.

All printed matter should be sent in a sealed cover subscribing "Business Proposal to GIF " along with a letter from the authorized signatory of the proposer.

TIMELINE AND EVALUATION

This EOI is an open ended invitation. All proposal received during the month will be reviewed in the subsequent month. GIF will revert back on the proposal of merit after preliminary review.
