Metallurgical Testing Service | GCF

Metallurgical Laboratory at Gun Carriage Factory, Jabalpur, a unit of Advanced Weapons & Equipment India Ltd.(AWEIL) is a NABL certified laboratory (as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017) . Laboratory having testing facility in the field of Chemical, Mechanical and Non-Destructive Test.

GCF, Met Lab has following facilities for testing of material:-

Testing facilities for above test is now available to the outside customers on payment basis. Rate of testing of material is given below.

Procedure of Application for Testing

The private entity interested in availing the testing facilities of Metallurgical Laboratory of Gun Carriage Factory will have to apply by filling up the application in the pro-forma given here ->. (Download Application)
After filling the pro-forma, firm has to pay the testing charges + 18% GST through IMPS/NEFT mode in the following account .

After payment, application form, proof of payment and sample of test object should be submitted to CRS office of the factory through courier or by hand in sealed envelope by mentioning the address: To, Sr. General Manager, Gun Carriage factory, Jabalpur. Pin Code 482011.
After receiving of application,payment details and sample, Met Lab will conduct the test.
After completion of test, the test report will be sent to the email-id provided by the customer. In case of hard copy required additional postal charge of Rs.50 will be applicable and hardcopy of the test report will be sent to the address mentioned in the application form.
Mechanical and Chemical analysis tests are destructive test, so sample will not be returned to the customer after testing.
Ultrasonic test is non-destructive test, so after test, material will be returned to the customer.
